Shortly into yesterday evenings press briefing, a Secret Service agent interrupted President Trump and escorted him away.
Turns out there was shots fired outside of the White House.
Several minutes later, President Trump returned to the press briefing where he told reporters “sorry for that. There was a shooting outside of the White House, and it seems to be very well under control.I’d like to thank the Secret Service for doing their always quick and very effective work.”
One reporter asked: “Are you rattled by this at all, Mr. President?”
Trump quickly responded: “I don’t know, do I seem rattled? It’s unfortunate. But the world has always been a dangerous place.”
