Man Sues CVS For Telling Wife About Viagra Script

Michael Feinberg is suing a CVS Pharmacy in Long Island for a HIPPA violation after an employee told his wife about his Viagra prescription. According to Feinberg, he brought his prescription to CVS and gave the pharmacy tech specific instructions to not bill the pills to his insurance; he wanted to pay for them out-of-pocket... at $60 a pill!

A few days later, his wife called the same CVS to check on her own prescription. It was then that the tech told Feinberg's wife about his script. So now, they are being sued for violating HIPPA laws because the pharmacy did not have consent to discuss the Viagra prescription with a 3rd party...his wife.
