Guardian Angels Return To Albany

The Guardian Angels returned to Albany to continue monitoring streets after multiple incidents of violence, and also try to recruit new members. Founder Curtis Sliwa spoke with Read and Kelly and said that some in the city don't think the Angels have enough knowledge of the area or the problems the people here face.

Sliwa is hoping to meet with Mayor Sheehan and Albany Police officers soon to go over a plan in the event that both the Guardian Angels and Law Enforcement are on the scene of a crime. The Angels are also looking to recruit people in Schenectady, Utica, Newburgh and Poughkeepsie, and will continue to come back every Tuesday to help.
