Happy Hour: Gloversville Pizza Shop Collects Tips for Christmas Toys

A great job was done by the owner and the employees of the Pizza Joint; a small pizza shop in Gloversville. For three months they saved their tip money, then went to Wal-Mart and used all the money to buy Christmas toys for needy kids. 

The boss and his employees saved $1,500 dollars and spent it all on the kids. 

An 84-year-old woman graduating from college today! She retired from her job as an administrative assistant in 2012 and didn't know what to do with herself in retirement. She got tired of playing bingo, so she signed up for sociology classes a the University of Texas. Over the last few years, she has started using a walker, an oxygen tank and just moved into assisted living. But, she was able to keep her studies up the whole time and today she earns her Bachelor's Degree.

And finally, in Pennsylvania, a giant pothole created huge problems for people. Neighbors complained and complained but the city of Wilkes-Barre seemed to ignore it... until a woman decided to call attention to it. She stuck a Christmas tree in it, decorations and all. 

Another neighbor came out and stuck a giant plastic Santa in it. His wife took a picture that went viral. The city finally saw it and decided to make the repair.
