Happy Hour: Albany Couple Celebrates 70 Years of Marriage

This is a sweet story. An Albany couple has just celebrated their 70th anniversary! Since saying "I do" in 1949, Barry and Edna Sparks have owned dry cleaners in Arbor Hill and Colonie and they have been running them for the past 50 years. The couple says working together is the secret of making a marriage work for so long

Barry and Edna have eight kids, nine grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grand children. You can see more about their story here.

Ka’Shawn Baldwin was headed to a job interview when he got pulled over. The 22 year old had borrowed the car and didn't know the license plates had expired... and he didn't have a valid driver's license. Procedure requires that the car can't stay on the road but Officer Roger Gemoules says he could tell Baldwin was respectful and trying to do the right thing. So when Baldwin asked if Gemoules could drive him to the interview, he agreed. They arrived... a few minutes late... but Baldwin got the job. He shared the story on social media along with many thanks to Officer Gemoules.

A homeless man in Australia says he left his rat in a box while he was using the bathroom. When he returned, Lucy was gone! He started putting up signs. Cops decided to lend their detective skills and the animal was returned by a woman who had thought Lucy was abandoned. Sounds a little sketchy, but the reunion at the police station shows how much of a bond Chris and Lucy share.
