It's August so, it’s time for back to school shopping and some states are cutting you a break. While New York hasn't joined the list of tax free shopping days, there are plenty of nearby states that could warrant a road trip - Lee Outlets anyone?
If you time it right, you’ll probably find a sale to add to your savings!
Here’s the break down of tax-free shopping by state:
- Arkansas: August 3rd to 4th
- Connecticut: August 18th to 24th
- Florida: August 2nd to 6th
- Iowa: August 2nd to 3rd
- Maryland: August 11th to 17th
- Massachusetts: August 17th to 18th
- Mississippi: July 26th to 27th
- Missouri: August 2nd to 4th
- New Mexico: August 2nd to 4th
- Ohio: August 2nd to 4th
- Oklahoma: August 2nd to 4th
- South Carolina: August 2nd to 4th
- Tennessee: July 26th to 28th
- Texas: August 9th to 11th
- Virginia: August 2nd to 4th
