Police Use Helicopters To Blow People Off Beach, Gangs Enforce Curfew

If you feel like going to the beach in Brazil, prepare for a sandstorm.

Social distancing is a big deal in Brazil thanks to the coronavirus, There’s no national lockdown there yet, but cities and other governments are imposing laws to make people stay home. That’s why, if you go to a beach there expect this: a helicopter blowing you and sand everywhere.

Most of the beachgoers fled, but if they come back, the police will be happy to take them in.

Meanwhile, gangs are enforcing the stay-at-home rule in some of the country’s poorer areas.
