Utah Senator Mitt Romney is ending pretty much any hope of blocking President Trump's nominee to the Supreme Court. He said in a statement today that he will vote to confirm or not the President's nominee based on their qualifications.
Romney said it is OK for the Senate to block a nominee of a president from a different party and to confirm one from their own party in an election year.
Only two Republican Senators have said they believe they should wait until after the election to vote to replace Ruth Bader Ginsburg. It would take four Republicans voting against to block a nominee from being confirmed.
