October 25-26, Fort Ticonderoga presents a powerful two-day living history event delving into the untold story of British prisoners of war during the American Revolution.This unique event offers a real-time exploration of a little-known chapter in the Revolutionary War — the moral, logistical, and human struggles faced by the Continental Army as they managed enemy prisoners in the aftermath of the failed Canadian invasion.

Throughout the weekend, visitors will witness:

Continental guards conducting prisoner roll calls and daily routines

The harsh realities of prisoner treatment, soldier fatigue duty, and survival in a wilderness fort

Living history demonstrations that vividly illustrate the crossroads of military necessity and revolutionary ideals
