Those of you who have gone through it know all too well that cleaning out the house after your parents have passed is not a fun task. Yesterday, my family started what will be a fairly long process of going through everything, deciding what to keep, what to donate and what to throw out. There are, of course, a lot of emotions. One that surprised me was that as close as we were to our parents, it still seems like an invasion of privacy of sorts....poking through virtually everything they owned and kept for 60+ years. The task certainly brings back some great memories but is also a uniquely eerie experience. Kelly, who just lost her dad too, and I talked about it this morning. - Chuck
