Siena/Spectrum Poll Gives Sheehan the Edge

One day before the primary election, a new poll says Albany's incumbent mayor, Kathy Sheehan, has a substantial lead over her two opponents, although it is a bit down from August.

The latest Siena College/Spectrum News Poll shows 51% of voters prefer Sheehan, while 26% plan to vote for Councilman Frank Commisso Jr.  Just 13% say they prefer Common Council President Carolyn Mc Laughlin.

The August poll had Sheehan with a 30 point lead over Commisso.
