Arena Football is coming back to Albany after a long absence. A deal has been reached for a new team that will be run by some local businessmen and the ownership group of Philadelphia's Arena League team.
Part of that ownership group is former NFL quarterback Ron Jaworski.
The team will play at the Times Union Center beginning in the Spring.
Submissions for a team name are being accepted and a fan vote will be held to select a final choice.
