Sooner or later, it seems like controversy swirls around just about everything these days.
Daylight Saving Time, for instance.
Some folks in Massachusetts are apparently tired of setting their clocks ahead or back, and want a permanent change to the Atlantic Time Zone.
However, only if the other New England states, including New York, go along with it.
Dr. Valerie Rapson is an astrophysicist at the miSci museum in Schenectady, and she tells News Channel 13 the whole concept is designed around maximizing daylight.
"So the theory is we can enjoy the time more, there's more time for farming, we might use less energy, less crime, those are all of the things that they're quoting that would be helpful."
There are reportedly some supporters in New Hampshire and Rhode Island.
Regardless, we go back to standard time this weekend, so be sure to set your clocks back an hour tonight at 2 AM or tomorrow morning.
