Miriam Dushane is Managing Partner for Alaant Workforce Solutions, a full-service professional staffing firm headquartered in Albany, NY that is recognized by both Forbes and Inavero as one of the nation’s leading recruiting firms.

Over the past decade, Ms. Dushane has built a successful, award-winning firm with $10 million in annual revenue, and overseen placement of more than 3,000 highly qualified individuals with over 300 companies across New York’s Capital Region. Ms. Dushane is responsible for oversight of all operations, including recruitment efforts, business development, complete P&L, and employee management, from employee relations and retention to benefits, compensation and compliance.

Under Ms. Dushane’s direction, Alaant Workforce Solutions, formerly Linium Recruiting, was recognized by Forbes in both 2017 and 2018 on its exclusive list of America’s Best Recruiting Firms. The company also received the prestigious Inavero’s Best of Staffing® Client Award for excellence in client service in both 2017 and 2018, an honor bestowed on fewer than 2 percent of all staffing agencies in North America.

With more than 20 years of experience in human resources, Ms. Dushane specializes in recruitment, employee relations, and training and development, serving industries that include IT, science and engineering, health care, accounting and sales. Her career has been guided by two central tenets: always doing the right thing over turning a profit, and leading by example.

A SHRM Certified Professional and PHR, Ms. Dushane has been active for many years in the Capital Region Human Resource Association, serving as Chair of the Legislative and Public Relations Committees and Secretary of the Executive Committee. Her commitment to the community includes service as Board Chair of Albany Can Code and Board Director for the Tech Valley High School Business Alliance. In 2015, she was recognized as a Woman of Excellence by the Capital Region Chamber of Commerce in the category of Excellence in Management (1-99 employees), and in 2017, she was honored by the Albany Business Review as one of its Women Who Mean Business.
