In Troy, members of the Rensselaer County Sheriff’s Office showed their appreciation to military families.
April is “Month of the Military Child,” and Sheriff Pat Russo hosted a day filled with fun and free activities for military families at the County Public Safety building. The four-hour event featured a K-9 demonstration, a magic show, fire truck rides and a visit from Batman.
Nearly two dozen kids were also treated to pizza and make-your-own ice cream sundaes.
