A suspicious incident in Washington County.
It happened late last week at a Cumberland Farms in Cambridge, and it has police warning residents.
Cambridge-Greenwich Police say a young woman was approached by an older man at the store.
The man asked the woman if she would like to see his puppy.
After the woman said no and left in her car, she tells police the man followed her for a period of time.
Police are telling residents to always stay alert.
They add that parents should talk with their children about such incidents, that can happen anywhere and anytime, and what to do when in those situations.
