A 27 year old man has died after an industrial accident in Albany. Police responded to Ben Weitsman on Smith Boulevard for reports that the man had been pinned under a bucket loader. When arriving on the scene, the man was unresponsive and later pronounced dead at the scene. Albany police say the man was attempting to dislodge a piece of metal that was lodged between the bucket and the tire. While doing so, a hydraulic line was severed causing the bucket to come down on him. The man was an employee of the scrapyard. His name is not being released pending family notification.
