A climb to the top of the Egg at the Empire State Plaza results in charges for four people.
Troopers say the four people hopped a fence to sneak into a construction site, climbed scaffolding to the roof of the Egg and that two of them "tagged" the roof with spray paint. The graffiti was left on an area of the Egg's roof which is being redone.
The incident reportedly happened at 2:13 in the morning on August 19th.
Troopers arrested:
Jessalyn Stafford, 28, of Schenectady was arrested for a Trespass (Violation).
Adam Blakley, 30, of Delmar was also arrested for Trespass (Violation).
David Zirpoli, 34, of Delmar was arrested for Criminal Trespass 3rd (B - Misdemeanor), Criminal Mischief 2nd (D-Felony).
William Grimes, 30, of Albany was charged with Criminal Mischief 2nd (D-Felony), Petit Larceny (A-Misdemeanor), Criminal Trespass 3rd (B-Misdemeanor), and Making Graffiti (A-Misdemeanor
Grimes is accused of also "tagging" several other locations on the Empire State Plaza.
