An arrest has been made in an early Saturday morning shooting at an Albany nightclub.
Albany Police spokesperson Steve Smith says the owners of Club Phoenix at 348 Central Avenue have been more than cooperative with investigators throughout the investigation.
Smith adds that the club even took precautions to prevent violence, hiring additional personnel, including security.
Police say 25-year-old Shaquille Owens fired several rounds from a handgun, targeting a 42-year-old male, but also striking two others.
He is being charged with attempted murder and criminal possession of a weapon.
