Colonie Police have arrested a high-ranking State Agency Director on drunken driving charges.
56-year-old Sheila McBain is the Director of the Statewide Central Register of the State Office of Children and Family Services.
Police say McBain crashed a 2014 Toyota Minivan on Lincoln Avenue Sunday night.
McBain then fled the scene on foot.
Police used K-9 units to catch up with McBain on Watervliet Shaker Road, 45 minutes after the crash.
McBain is being charged with D.W.I., and leaving the scene of an accident.
