Temperatures Drop and Wind Picks Up as Nor'easter Continues

The snow is falling and local leaders have been preparing for days to keep up with this latest winter storm.

Albany County Sheriff Craig Apple is less concerned about the actual snowfall, and more concerned about the frigid temperatures and wind that will soon follow.

Apple says he is most concerned with people going outside to shovel and clean up their cars and everything else, adding that frostbite does not take much in these types of temperatures.

He says he is also concerned about pets that are outside, and others checking on their neighbors.

The National Guard has been deployed due to this Nor'easter, with 450 soldiers and airmen and over 100 military vehicles on duty.
