A significant water valve break has left 1/3 of Cohoes residents without water. The break will affect residents in the areas of Berkley Ave from Vliet Street to Manor Ave, Vliet Street from Pleasant Street to Eagle Street and Bullock Lane. Over 5,000 residents are affected.
According to the City's Facebook Page a boil water advisory is in effect for the areas will include Vliet Blvd at Pleasant Street down to North Mohawk Street and all areas north of this line. Columbia Street from Central Ave to Conliss Avenue and all areas between.
