NXIVM Founder Keith Raniere Found Guilty on All Counts

The jury has reached a verdict in the Capital Region-based sex-cult trial being heard in Brooklyn.

Keith Raniere, the founder of the group NXIVM has been found guilty on all charges, including racketeering, sex trafficking, forced labor and child pornography charges.

The trial lasted seven weeks, but the jury deliberated for less than five hours to find Raniere guilty.

NXIVM was a self-help group for women, but prosecutors say the 58-year-old allegedly branded and starved young women he kept as sex slaves.

Raniere faces a possible life sentence. He will be sentenced on September 25.
