Suspect that was in custody reportedly released.
Schenectady police say a man was shot in the abdomen on Vassar Street near State Street a little before 12:30 Thursday afternoon.
The man was taken to Albany Medical Center to treat injuries caused by the shooting. Police say they have a suspect in custody.
