The House impeachment inquiry into President Trump begins today. The House Intelligence Committee will hold the first public hearing in the ongoing investigation. The key question involves whether the President and members of his administration pushed Ukraine's president to publicly launch an investigation of Democrats. At the time, Ukraine's leader was seeking a coveted White House meeting with Trump. The witnesses in the first hearing will be acting U.S.-Ukraine Ambassador Bill Taylor and George Kent, a deputy assistant secretary of state. On Friday, the intel committee will hear from ousted U.S.-Ukraine Ambassador Marie Yovanovitch.
