Rush Limbaugh Announces He Has "Advanced Lung Cancer"

Rush Limbaugh Gives A Speech In Michigan

On Monday, Conservative icon and radio show host Rush Limbaugh told his audience that he has been diagnosed with "advanced lung cancer."

He got the diagnosis on January 20. Rush said, "there are going to be days that I'm not going to be able to be here because I'll be undergoing treatment or I'm reacting to treatment."

Rush explained that he has a deeply personal relationship with God and that he has been "working that relationship tremendously."

The 69-year-old said he will not be on the air the next few days as he gets treatment. He said he hopes to be back on the air by Thursday.

The Rush Limbaugh Show is heard on WGY weekdays 12pm-3pm and has been a mainstay of the WGY programming lineup for well-over 25 years.
