A Germantown School district bus overturned on County Route 33/Church Avenue and Viewmont Road Tuesday morning in Columbia County.
State police say there were 20 students, plus the driver on board when the bus crashed around 7:30am.
Eight children and the bus driver were treated for minor injuries. The rest of the students were returned to their homes for the day or went to the class.
It is not yet known what caused the driver to leave the road.
Inspection of the bus is being completed by the New York State Department of Transportation and the Troop K Commercial Vehicle Enforcement.
