The city of Albany announcing Friday that they are lifting all time-limit parking regulations (with the exception of residential permit areas, emergency no parking areas and loading zones) until further notice.
Additionally the City is creating curbside pickup areas in front of local restaurants that are continuing to offer take-out amid the coronavirus pandemic.
The dedicated parking spots are designed to to help protect both employees and customers and ensure the continued compliance of social distancing protocols. The new curbside pick-up spots can be used for up to 30 minutes and are designated with signs.
Restaurants offering take-out that wish to be a part of this program should contact mayor@albanyny.gov or call (518) 434-5105 to request the signage.
