Parts of the Capital Region will be seeing a bit of snow Friday night into Saturday morning. WGY-Accuweather Meteorologist Heather Zehr is calling for rain Friday night that could mix with snow. In the valleys, we're looking at no more than a coating to an inch that won't linger for very long, 1-3 inches is possible in higher elevations.
According to the National Weather Service in Albany, the last time Albany recorded measurable snow in the month of May was May 18, 2002 with 2.2 inches.
