The Adirondack Balloon Festival is canceled this year due to the coronavirus pandemic. The festival was originally scheduled for September 17th through the 20th.
Organizers believe people would not be able to properly social distance as the event normally draws tens of thousands of people.
The Balloon Festival is expected to return in 2021 with new guidelines in place.
