Congresswoman Elise Stefanik says she disagrees with President Trump's order to suspend visa programs used by foreigners hoping to work in the United States.
The 21st District Republican tells The Times Union she's been a strong advocate for those visas during her time in office. She also said that a lot of businesses in her district rely on the J-1 visa program which allows exchange visitors into the United States. Stefanik also revealed no one in Congress was consulted before Trump announced his executive order.
