Albany Man Arrested for Damaging Property During Riots

Another arrest in the aftermath of the May 30th riot in the city of Albany has been made and the person arrested is the son of the Regional Director of Empire State Development.

Police say that 20-year-old Brian Yevoli intentionally caused more than $19,000 damage to the Albany County Department of Probation building at 60 South Pearl Street.

Investigators identified him through surveillance equipment and private photos. According to the Times Union, Brian Yevoli is the son of Michael Yevoli, who previously headed the Albany City Planning Department.

Brian Yevoli has been charged with Felony Criminal Mischief. He was arraigned in Albany City Court and has been released.
