Albany County Executive Dan McCoy was joined by UAlbany President Havidan Rodriguez and Siena College President Chris Gibson during his coronavirus briefing this morning.

Together, they announced that UAlbany and Siena students must sign a pledge saying they will follow social distancing and wear a face mask.

Students must also show they have tested negative for COVID-19.

Students will be tested again when they arrive on campus.

Both UAlbany and Siena will have a combination of in person, remote, and hybrid classes for the fall semester.

The colleges have a plan in place to go to fully remote learning if need be.

Classes for the fall semester begin Monday, August 24th.
