Schenectady Police Investigating Several Weekend Shootings

Schenectady Police are investigating several shootings that happened over the weekend.

The gunfire started early Sunday morning around 12:15am when two people were shot in Central Park.

Police say the victims were taken to Albany Med. They are expected to survive.

Police found out about another shooting an hour later when a man arrived at Ellis Hospital with a non life-threatening injury.

There were also shell casings found on both Duane Avenue and Crane Street, but no victims were located.

Schenectady police say two men were shot Sunday night on the 400 block of Hulett Street in the Hamilton Hill neighborhood, one shot in the leg and the other in the ankle.

Police have not said if if they have a suspect according to the Times Union.

The men are expected to survive.
