An arrest has been made in connection with the crash that killed 36-year-old New York State Trooper Jeremy VanNostrand in 2018.
34-year-old Aaron Munise of Johnstown has been charged with Criminally Negligent Homicide and Reckless Driving.
On the morning of November 27, 2018, VanNostrand was on his way to work at the State Police barracks in Fonda when he was rear ended by a box truck, driven by Munise. His car was pushed into oncoming traffic and was then hit by a pick-up truck.
VanNostrand died at Albany Medical Center.
Munise was arraigned in Montgomery County Court and was sent to jail on $5,000 cash or $10,000 bond.
