One man is dead and a woman is in the hospital following a violent incident in Troy. Police say Colin Davis was stabbing his estranged wife during a domestic dispute on 17th Street last night when off-duty police officer Adam Harbour heard what was happening. The officer told Davis to stop and drop the weapon several times before shooting and killing him.
The victim is at a local hospital in stable condition. Harbour will be on desk duty until an investigation is complete.
