The search for a Capital Region woman missing for more than a year has come to a sad end. Police say the remains found in a Searsburg, Vermont gravel pit are those of Jessica Hildenbrandt. The 43-year-old last contacted her family back in July 2019 and her death has been ruled a homicide. According to her social media accounts, Hildenbrandt lived in Niskayuna and may have had an ex-boyfriend in Bennington. Anyone with information can contact Vermont State Police at 802-442-5421.
