A Town of Berne man is dead after a work related accident at the Town of Berne Transfer Station. According to the Albany County Sheriff's Office, emergency crews arrived at the scene Wednesday morning after receiving reports of a man trapped underneath a Town of Berne dump truck.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene and the incident is currently under investigation.
