When New York voters go to the polls, they can cast a write-in vote for a popular musician who is running for president.
Rapper Kanye West has been allowed to qualify as a write-in candidate, even though he hasn't actively campaigned to be Commander in Chief. West's name will be appearing on the ballot in several states next week, including New York, even though he has very small odds of actually winning. There are now a total of 18 write-in candidates in the Empire State.
