Albany Police arrest a man for his involvement in a shots fired incident last month while officers were at the scene of another shots fired call early Saturday morning.

Police say they responded to a shots fired call around 4:00am Saturday on the 100 block of Orange Street.

During the investigation, police saw 34 year old Jayson Bryant near the scene and arrested him. Bryant was wanted in connection with a shots fired incident on October 24th near Clinton Avenue and Lexington Avenue when police say he fired several shots from a car. Nobody was injured.

Bryant was charged with reckless endangerment and criminal possession of a weapon.

Police also arrested 37 year old Bryan Conner for his alleged role in the October shots fired incident. Police say about an hour after the original call for shots fired back on the 24th, Conner was spotted on Third Street driving a car linked to the incident.

Police pulled him over, but they say he ran from officers and tried to get rid of a gun that he had on him. Police were able to track him down and find the gun.

Conner was charged with criminal possession of a weapon.
