New York State United Teachers wants to give parents some peace of mind while their kids are in school.
The union has created a website that will provide a database of COVID-19 related health and safety violations that have been reported by staff and members of the community.
Before the school year started, the state also created a place parents can visit online to see how many people have contracted the virus in their child's building.
