With promising news of a potential coronavirus vaccine by pharmaceutical company Pfizer, the conversation has pivoted to discussing how the vaccine would be distributed.
Dr. Eli Rosenberg, an Associate Professor of Epidemiology and Biostatistics at UAlbany and an advisor on Governor Cuomo’s vaccine distribution and implementation task force However there are some issues to overcome, if the vaccine is approved, there’s only a limited amount of doses that Pfizer can produce by the end of the year. And Rosenberg says, there is a distrust surrounding vaccines that has to be worked through.
