Two COVID-19 related deaths are reported in Albany County in the last 24 hours.
County Executive Dan McCoy says a woman in her 70's and a woman in her 80's have died from coronavirus. There are 96 new positive cases reported since Tuesday. Over 1,000 positive cases have been confirmed since November 1st.
Currently, 44 people are hospitalized due to COVID, the highest single day number since the pandemic began. Out of the 44, 11 people are currently in the ICU. That's the most reported since April 15th.
