A Fort Edward woman is in trouble with the law after being accused of assaulting a seven-year-old.
Washington County deputies say back on November 28th, 35-year-old Holly Riley injured the child who she was caring for at the time. The nature of the relationship between Riley and the young victim hasn't been made public. Riley has been arraigned on endangerment and assault charges but released on her own recognizance.
