Hospitals across the Capital Region are feeling the strain of a growing number of coronavirus cases.
A record number of hospitalizations have been reported in several counties lately as the virus continues to spread. That means there are fewer ICU beds available to treat people who are suffering from the disease. Making matters worse, hospitalizations could spike again in the next few weeks as the number of people infected during the holidays goes up.
