New York State has agreed to expand access to the COVID-19 vaccine to at least seven million people.

Governor Cuomo says the state will follow federal Centers for Disease Control and Prevention guidelines allowing people 65 and older and those with compromised immune systems to get vaccinated. However, one continuing problem is the availability of vaccine meaning everyone who qualifies to get a shot may not be able to. Appointments for vaccination clinics can still be set up online or by calling 1-833-697-4829
