The Albany County Jail remains under lockdown as officials try and get a COVID-19 outbreak under control.

Sheriff Craig Apple says so far, dozens of inmates and employees have tested positive for the illness and that number will likely continue to grow. Crews are working to deep clean and disinfect the facility to limit everyone's exposure to germs. The lockdown is expected to last for at least 30 days.
