Montgomery County deputies have arrested a man who admitted to setting his own house on fire.
Police say 32-year-old Adam Prime confessed to starting the blaze on Salt Springville Road in Fort Plain last Saturday morning. While no one was hurt, several animals inside the residence lost their lives. Prime is now facing arson and animal cruelty charges but was released after being arraigned.
