Three members of the Mechanicville City School District have recently tested positive for the coronavirus.
Over the weekend, it was announced that Superintendent Bruce Potter and both school principals have been infected with COVID-19 in recent weeks. No students were exposed to the illness, due mostly to the fact that seventh through twelfth graders have been learning remotely since Thanksgiving. Earlier this month, the district's food services director also tested positive for the virus.
