The American Red Cross is helping seven people who were forced from their homes during a fire in Albany.
The blaze happened Thursday on Sherman Street and crews arrived to find heavy smoke coming from the building. One firefighter suffered a minor injury but no residents were hurt. Just what sparked the fire is still under investigation.
